International Business Honor Society
I joined the International Business Honor Society (IBHS) in Fall 2022, and it quickly became a valuable resource for both my academic and professional development. As a first-generation student, I found IBHS to be an essential support system, providing mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to valuable resources that helped me navigate my college journey and career goals.
In Spring 2023, I joined the executive board (e-board), where I gained hands-on experience in leadership, strategic planning, and organizational management. This role allowed me to collaborate with motivated peers and contribute to IBHS's mission of fostering academic excellence and global engagement.
Building on this experience, I later took on the role of Director of the Bandhwari Project from 2023 to 2024. This leadership position involved overseeing and managing initiatives aimed at making a positive impact in Bandhwari, a village in India. Through this project, I was able to integrate my passion for international business and community development while strengthening my skills in project management, cross-cultural communication, and social responsibility. IBHS, along with the scholarship I received through the organization, played a key role in making this opportunity in India a reality. This experience deepened my understanding of global markets and community engagement, enriching my overall academic journey.

Roaring Concepts
In Fall 2024, I joined Roaring Concepts, an in-house marketing agency at FIU that is part of the American Marketing Association. As a Brand Manager, I gained hands-on experience by conducting market research, performing SWOT analysis, and creating and managing social media posts for both Pollo Tropical and the Bandhwari Project. This experience provided me with valuable insights into strategic marketing, brand development, and digital content management. I continued working with Roaring Concepts in Spring 2025, further developing my skills in marketing strategy and social media management while collaborating with a talented team of student marketers.

Tuesday Times Roundtables: Sustainable Livelihoods
As part of my global learning experience, I participated in the Global Learning Tuesday Times Roundtable, a weekly event that fosters discussions on diverse global topics. One week, I had the privilege of presenting on the Bandhwari Project, with my presentation titled "Tuesday Times Roundtable: Sustainable Livelihoods." This opportunity allowed me to share insights about the project's impact on the local community in Bandhwari, particularly in terms of sustainable development and social entrepreneurship. The roundtable provided a platform for meaningful conversations, deepening my understanding of global issues and enhancing my ability to communicate complex ideas to a broader audience.
