Congressional Recognition for Philanthropic Efforts in Bandhwari Village

In August 2023, I was honored to receive a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressman Carlos A. Giménez for my philanthropic efforts in Bandhwari Village, India. This recognition was deeply meaningful, as it came just a few months after my first trip to India following the COVID-19 pandemic. That visit was a transformative experience, allowing me to witness firsthand the challenges faced by the community and the impact of the Bandhwari Project in supporting local initiatives.

Receiving this award reinforced the importance of global engagement and service, reminding me that meaningful change starts with small, dedicated efforts. The time spent working on the Bandhwari Project helped me develop a deeper understanding of sustainable development, community empowerment, and cross-cultural collaboration.
